INDIANAPOLIS
Violet (Easterly) Meister, 77, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, Nov. 20, 2015. She was a resident of Indianapolis.
Violet was an elementary school teacher, graduating from Butler University in 1959.
Survivors include her husband, Carl Meister; sons, Michael (Ivy) Meister, Dr. Patrick (Lisa) Meister; sister, Louise (Ed) Combs; brother, Jim (Dorothy) Easterly and six grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hendryx Mortuary, 19 E. Main St., New Palestine. Calling will be from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Additional visitation will be from noon to service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the New Palestine Cemetery.
