Tabernacle Christian Church, 198 N. Water St. in Franklin, will host a free puppet show as part of downtown Franklin’s Holiday Lighting celebration.
The Melchior Marionette puppet show will be at 4:30 p.m. Dec. 5 in the sanctuary of the church.
The show is free and open to the public.
Grace United Methodist Church, 1300 E. Adams Drive, Franklin, will present the “All God’s Children” Preschool Christmas program at 6 p.m. Dec. 10.
The event is open to all who would like to hear and see the preschool children in action, followed by a reception in Price Hall.
Southside Missionary Baptist Church, 1801 E. Stop 12 Road, will offer a live Nativity program, “A Walk Through Bethlehem,” on Dec. 12 and 13.
Times will be 6 to 10 p.m. Dec. 12 and 5 to 8 p.m. Dec. 13.
The program will include live animals, Christmas caroling and refreshments.

Benedict Inn Retreat & Conference Center, 1402 Southern Ave., Beech Grove, will offer a personal retreat day on Dec. 16.
Visitors can rest, relax, read and walk the center’s labyrinth path.
Fee is $35 per person and includes a room for the day and lunch. Spiritual direction is available for an additional fee.
