A woman who was killed when she was hit by a car on County Line Road has been identified.
Diana L. Parker, 62, died of multiple blunt force trauma, Johnson County Deputy Coroner David Lutz said.
An autopsy will not be performed, Lutz said.
Parker was hit just after 10:30 p.m. Tuesday and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a news release from the Greenwood Police Department.
The accident happened just west of Emerson Avenue, near Greenwood Municipal Airport.
Police have not identified the driver in the accident and have said alcohol and drugs are not believed to be a factor in the crash.
