Dean Duvall

GREENWOOD

Dean Duvall, 83, of Greenwood peacefully passed into the arms of The Lord on Nov. 12, 2015, surrounded by his loving family.

A well known local musician, Dean had proudly served in the U.S. Army, followed by 34 years in the Indiana Department of Correction, where he held many positions including director of adult institutions and deputy director of administration before retiring in 1992.

At his retirement, he was named a Sagamore of the Wabash, Indiana’s highest honor.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy; daughter, Elaina Duvall; son-in-law, Bryan Seidensticker; grandchildren, Devin Duvall, Nick Wiegand and Jacob Wiegand; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Anna, Dax Wiegand and Isaac Turley, of whom he was so very proud!

He also will be sadly missed by his faithful mastiff, Alex.
