Center Grove Church, 2340 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, will present its remaining productions of “Mulan Jr.” today and Sunday.

The production is by the Center Grove Fine Arts Academy, an extension of the church’s worship ministry.

“Mulan Jr.” is a stage adaptation of the Disney film. The story follows the character Mulan in ancient China, who defies the village matchmaker. She takes up arms and disguises herself as a boy to spare her father from having to serve in the army.

Shows will be at 3:30 and 7 p.m. today and at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the church.

Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students at the door.

Nineveh Christian Church, 1231 E. County Road 775S, Nineveh, will host the Joyful Sound Bell Choir from Greenwood on Nov. 29.

The concert will begin at 6:30 p.m. The concert is ideal for families as a Christmas season kickoff event. Enjoy the bells, refreshments and fellowship.

Grace United Methodist Church, 1300 E. Adams Drive in Franklin, will present the Shades of Blue Christmas Gathering at 6 p.m. Dec. 3 in Price Hall.

The Whiteland High School Community Choir will sing and share. Open to the public.

Benedict Inn Retreat & Conference Center, 1402 Southern Ave., Beech Grove, will host a program on preparations for the season of Advent, “Advent Sacred Moments,” on Dec. 5.

During this program, time will be devoted to considering the various ways to prepare spiritually for the coming of Christ at Christmas.

The program will be 9 to 11:30 a.m. The fee is $25.
