Columbus man not injured in motorcycle accident

A Columbus man was not injured when the motorcycle he was riding went off the road Thursday morning.

Thomas Quillen, 28, of Columbus, was heading south on U.S. 31 near State Road 252 when a passing truck blew him and his bike off the road in very windy conditions, according to the police report.

When Quillen lost control of the motorcycle, he went into the median on U.S. 31, crashed and was thrown from his bike, according to the report.

Quillen was wearing a helmet and complained of pain to his arm. He was checked at the scene for injuries and then released.
