Air Force jazz group to perform at high school
The U.S. Air Force of Mid-America’s Shades of Blue jazz ensemble will perform at Franklin Community High School on Friday.
Tickets are free but must be reserved by emailing [email protected] or by calling the Franklin Performing Arts Center box office at 317-346-8109.
Roncalli schedules fall musical
Roncalli High School students will present their fall musical this week.
“42nd Street” will be performed at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Saturday at the school, 3300 Prague Road, Indianapolis.
Tickets may be ordered by calling 787-8277 Ext. 249 or online at roncalli.org. Click on the Fine Arts tab, and then select Box Office. Payment is required when tickets are ordered. Checks, cash, Visa and Mastercard are accepted. They are $7 for adults and $3 for students.
Walkathon raises money for tuition aid
Roncalli High School students walked to raise more than $91,000.
More than 1,300 students, faculty, staff and volunteers participated in the three-mile walk. The walk is the school’s only fundraiser. All of the proceeds go to need-based tuition assistance.
