INDIANAPOLIS
Thelma Leatta McCarty Elliott, 83, died Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015. She was a resident of Indianapolis.
Survivors include her husband, Grandville Gene Elliott; children, Dianna Faulkner and Vickie Elliot; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life gathering will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens at Olive Branch, 1605 S. State Road 135. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Gray Road Baptist Church, 5500 Gray Road, Indianapolis, with additional visitation from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church. Another service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Ames United Methodist Church in Paoli. Burial will be at Ames Chapel Cemetery.
