FRANKLIN
Samuel C. Broadbeck, 87, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015, in Franklin. He was a resident of Franklin.
Sam was born March 30, 1928, in Pennsylvania.
He married Jeanne Crowe, and they lived most of their lives in Franklin. Jeanne preceded him in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Peggy (Jim) Burton of Summerville, South Carolina, and Debbie (Bob) Swinehamer of Franklin; grandchildren, Eric (Gina) Burton of Virginia, David (Amber) Swinehamer of Bluffton, South Carolina, and Anna (Zach) Smith of Edinburgh; and great-grandchildren, Serenity and Faith Smith and Austin Swinehamer.
Sam served in the U.S. Army and was a life member of the VFW and a member of American Legion Post 205 of Franklin.
A graveside service will be at a later date at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
