Letter: Bring grocery story to Whiteland area

To the editor:

I’m writing about the article that was in the Daily Journal Oct. 22, “Medical offices proposed in Whiteland.” Fine and dandy, but what Whiteland wouldn’t do to have a grocery store there. We haven’t had a store there for 13 years.

Here’s the point. It makes it hard for the elderly to have to drive to Franklin or Greenwood to a grocery store. Each year it gets just a little harder. How well I know. Just a thought that crosses my mind.
