A one-car crash on Main Street in Greenwood injured the driver and diverted traffic through nearby neighborhoods.
Just after 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, a Greenfield man was seen slumped over the steering wheel of his car as it went off the road, according to the report.
The accident happened on Main Street near Monticello Drive at the Greenwood Commons subdivision.
The car hit a large rock and a tree before it crashed into a shed, Greenwood Fire Chief James Sipes said.
When medics arrived, the driver was unconscious, Sipes said. Firefighters removed the man from the car through the back of the vehicle, he said.
The man was taken to Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital. His condition was not available on Wednesday afternoon.
