All Grizzlies past and present are invited back to campus this week for their alma mater’s homecoming activities.

Franklin College will celebrate homecoming with several events starting today and continuing through the weekend.

The highlights of homecoming festivities include:

Athletic Hall of Fame Banquet, 6:30 p.m. today, Branigin Room of the Napolitan Student Center.

Alumni and friends are invited to join the celebration of athletic excellence. Alumni Robert W. Ray (Class of ’80) (posthumously), Jodi Graber Berry (’94), and Bryan C. Epperson (’93) will be inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame. Cost is $15 and registration is required.

Roy E. Tillotson Alumni Golf Tournament, 11 a.m. Friday, Hillview Country Club, Franklin.

Registration begins at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start at noon. The registration fee of $75 per player includes green fees, cart, dinner and tournament prizes. Registration is required.

Old Gold Reception and Luncheon, 11:30 a.m. Friday, Branigin Room, Napolitan Student Center.

Honoring the 50-year reunion class (1965), the luncheon is open to all alumni graduating prior to 1965. Cost is $12, and registration is required. Members of the Class of 1965 will receive two complimentary tickets at the door, as do members of the Classes of 1960, 1955 and 1950.

President’s Alumni and Friends Reception, 5 p.m. Friday, home of Franklin College President Thomas J. Minar and his spouse, Dr. Frank S. Becker, 253 S. Forsythe St., hors d’oeuvres reception. This event is free of charge; registration requested.

Hail to Franklin Dinner/Alumni Awards Program, 6:30 p.m. Friday, Branigin Room.

The dinner and awards program honor the recipients of the 2015 Alumni Council Awards, including Merry Ann (Thompson) Wright (’65) and Audra J. Ferguson-Allen (’04). Cost is $20 per person, and registration is required.

Grizzly Football vs. Mount St. Joseph University, 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Stewart “Red” Faught Stadium.

The Grizzlies will take on the Lions of Mount St. Joseph. Crowning of the homecoming king and queen will be held at halftime. Admission to the game is $5 for adults; $2 for college and high school students; free for college faculty, staff and students with a valid ID, as well as for middle school students and younger.
