Carlos L. Rooks, 76, of Largo, Florida, formerly of Edinburgh, passed from this life Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, after a long illness.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth (Burton) Southers; a granddaughter, Brandy McClain Rooks; two aunts; and an uncle.
He is lovingly survived by his wife of 56 years, Linda Sue (Scott) Rooks; a son, Brad (Angie) Rooks; and a daughter, Sharon Rooks (Eddie) Wheeler, all of Edinburgh. He has two granddaughters, Sharon (Joe) Alaimo of Germany and Jade (Jeff) Fish of Edinburgh; two great-grandsons, Bryar and Keyan Fish; five brothers and sisters in Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.
