Larry J. McCray, 81, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2015, in Franklin. He was a resident of Franklin.

Larry was born June 28, 1934, in Indianapolis to Frederick and Faye (Jennings) McCray.

He was married to Helen Brown McCray.

Larry was employed with NAPA as a truck driver for 35 years, retiring in 1994.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and bowling. He loved to sing karaoke, especially Frank Sinatra songs.

He is survived by his wife, Helen McCray of Franklin; four children, Jamie (Wade) Fancher and Kimber (Kevin) Winning, both of Alabama, and Tim (Debbie) McCray and Trampis (Kim) Winchester, both of Greenwood; two stepsons, Randy Brown of Franklin and Stanley Brown of Florida; a stepdaughter, Rita (Larry) Ham of Greenfield; daughter-in-law, Teresa McCray of Greenwood; two sisters, Janet (Gearld) Lawson of Franklin and Joy (William) Woodall of Whiteland; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Alice McCray; a son, Daniel McCray; four brothers, Dick, Jack, Donald and Ronald McCray; and a sister, Cherie Paradise.

A funeral service will be conducted at 5 p.m. Saturday at Jessen Funeral Home, Franklin Chapel, 197 E. Jefferson St. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
