Chris “Crazyhorse” Stumpf, 58, passed away Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, at his residence in Brown County.
Chris was born Sept. 24, 1957, in Indianapolis and was a 1976 graduate of Perry Meridian High School. Chris worked at Rolls-Royce and GM for 30 years. His life’s joys were motorcycles and building and riding steam engines. He was a member of United Auto Workers Local 933.
Survivors include his wife, Paula (Bauman) Stumpf; his mother, Rosalie Stumpf; a daughter, Andrea Stumpf; two granddaughters, Rosalie Mace and Kairi Ghent; a stepdaughter, Angela Fox; and a stepgranddaughter, Morgan Fox.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens at Olive Branch, 1605 S. State Road 135. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at The Gardens at Olive Branch Cemetery in Greenwood.
