Virginia R. Junker

Virginia R. Junker, 94, of Greenwood, passed away Friday, Sept. 25, 2015.

She was born Sept. 24, 1921, in Valentine, Nebraska, to the late Eli Francis and Lila Martha Malone Nollette. Virginia received her bachelor’s degree from Southern State University, Springfield, South Dakota.

She married Dale E. Junker, May 23, 1944, and he preceded her in death Oct. 22, 2005. Virginia was the office manager of Chase Photography for eight years, retiring in 1986. She was a charter member of St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church.

Virginia is survived by her loving children, Joe M. Junker (Christine), Connie K. Onken (Dennis), Anne M. Hall (Dennis), Mary J. Nichols (Jerry), and James A. Junker; grandchildren, Jeff Junker (Christy), Matt Owen (Erika), Jessa Wyatt (John), Virginia Greuloch (Douglas), Jennifer Wilson (Justin), Amanda Nichols, Jesse Junker, and Emily Junker; great-grandchildren, Hannah Junker, Jack Junker, Zoë Onken, Devin Onken, Fiona Onken, Kiera Onken, Charlotte Greuloch, William Greuloch, Nicholas Wilson, and Declan Wyatt; sister, Frances Stillwell; and two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Nollette and Clarene Junker.

She was preceded in death by brother, Halaire Francis Nollette.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church, 11441 Hague Road., Fishers, IN, with visitation from 10 a.m. until service time.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation. Final care and arrangements are entrusted to Shirley Brothers Thompson Road Chapel.
