- I would like to give a big two thumbs-up for the committee that organized the Farm Fest event at the fairgrounds on Sept. 12-13. They did an outstanding job of showcasing Johnson County agriculture. There was a good combination of children activities, educational exhibits, interactive displays and food vendors for all who attended. The committee is to be commended for their efforts; and if you didn’t attend, you should make plans to attend next year.
