A Bargersville convenience store could soon change names.
Kocolene Development Corp. announced it was selling its 14 Fast Max Convenience Stores division to Circle K.
Fast Max locations are in Seymour, North Vernon, Madison, Salem, Greenfield, Bargersville, Brazil, Bloomington, Washington, Elnora, Loogootee, Terre Haute and Cynthiana, Kentucky.
The company also owns five Fast Max service stations in other Indiana and Kentucky cities. A company official said those five stations are for sale.
Kocolene plans to keep and grow its Smokers Host Discount Tobacco and Ranger divisions, a company official said.
Any employees impacted by the decrease in stores have either been offered a similar position or a severance package, company officials said.
