INDIANAPOLIS
Jason Edward “Jay” Sims, 43, of Indianapolis, died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015, in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
Survivors include his wife Melanie (Cox) Sims of Indianapolis; daughters, Jessica (Casey) Sims-Cromer of Indianapolis and Brandi (Charles) Napier of Greenwood; son, Edward (Chelsea) Pickett of Mooresville; father, Joseph Sims Sr. of Camby; two brothers, Josh (Holly) Sims of Greenfield and Joseph Sims Jr. of Camby; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol (Osborne) Sims.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday at Jessen Funeral Home, Whiteland Chapel, 729 U.S. 31 North. Visitation will be from noon until service time Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at West Newton Cemetery.
