WHITELAND
Cheryl L. Beck, 51, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015, at her Whiteland residence.
Born Nov. 20, 1963, she was the daughter of Lowell and Ruth Ann (Gibson) Cummins Peacock. She was a graduate of Southport High School, class of 1982.
On March 14, 1987, she married Michael J. Beck in Indianapolis.
Cheryl owned and operated Cheryl’s Kiddie Corral.
She was an avid run/walk participant. She enjoyed restoring antique furniture, camping and donating to charities.
She is survived by her husband, Michael J. Beck; mother and stepfather, Larry and Ruth Ann Peacock; four daughters, Amber (Jack L.) Christy, Allysa Beck, Andrea (Devin) Vaught and Audree Beck; a brother, Lowell Cummins Jr.; a sister, Aimee Peacock; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lowell Cummins; and a sister, Julie Ford.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial of cremains will be at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Cheryl’s memory.
