Earl W. Clark, 95, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015, at the home of his nephew, Monford R. Sprong Jr. He was a resident of Franklin for 60 years.
He was born April 30, 1920, in Edinburgh to Oscar W. and Lola Ann (Everling) Clark.
He married Audrey (Sprong) Clark. She preceded him in passing on Dec. 10, 2007.
Earl is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Earl was employed by Arvin Industries, retiring after several years of dedicated service. He worked for Brown’s Grocery for many years.
He was a member of Franklin Memorial Christian Church. Earl was known for his beautiful big gardens.
The Rev. Larry McAdams will conduct a celebration of Earl’s life at 7 p.m. Thursday at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home. A private family burial will be Friday at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
