  • 11:53 a.m. Friday — U.S. 31 and Westview Drive

Personal-injury accident

3:23 p.m. Friday — U.S. 31 and Banta Street: Justin L. Beesley, 26, Columbus; and Jason T. Schladweiler, 22, Greenwood. Schladweiler reported knee or lower leg pain.

Theft

2800 block of North Morton Street: A man reported at 6:50 a.m. Monday that his vehicle was missing.

Attempted crime

Barnes and Noble, 1251 U.S. 31 North: An employee reported at 4:34 p.m. Sunday that a man attempted to steal several items from the bookstore. When confronted, the items were left at the front of the store.

Thefts

800 block of South Old U.S. 31, Franklin: A man reported at 12:13 p.m. Sunday that prescription medication was missing.

7300 block of North County Road 670E: A man reported at 5:49 p.m. Sunday that a trailer was missing from his property.

Jail bookings

The following people recently were arrested and booked into the Johnson County jail:

Keith Joseph Geis, 20, 9191 S. County Road 475E, St. Paul; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court; released on $350 bond.

Nicholas Scott Goodman, 27, 214 Easy St., Bargersville; arrested on a charge of driving while suspended with a previous conviction; released on $250 bond.

Matthew Steven Taylor, 37, 1129 Stonehedge Drive East, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of public intoxication; held on $2,000 bond.

Elizabeth De Leon Lopez, 21, 605 Grassy Bend Drive, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of driving without ever receiving a license; held on $1,000 bond. 

Marcos Rico, 32, 36 S. Arlington Ave., Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of driving while suspended with a previous conviction; released on $250 bond.

Raul E. Betancourt, 23, 647 Scotch Pine Drive, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of driving while suspended; held on $1,000 bond.
