Judy E. Miller

FRANKLIN

Judy E. Miller, 75, of Franklin, passed away Friday, Sept. 11, 2015, at Franciscan St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis with her daughter, brother and sister at her side.

She was born May 10, 1940, in Moorhead, Minnesota. She served as Vice President of administration and human resources for Atlas Copco, formerly known as Hurricane  Compressors and Grimmer Schmidt in Franklin for 34 years retiring in 2013.

She was a former member of Franklin Sertoma Club. She was active in Reach Out for Recovery. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister and especially enjoyed being with her granddaughter, Damerah, who was the light of her life.

Survivors include her daughter, Deborah J. Coleman of Franklin; granddaughter, Damerah E. Coleman of Franklin; two sisters, Jo Skavlem of St. Paul, Minnesota and Jacqueline Freidt (Chris) of Mandan, North Dakota; one brother, John Bredemeier (Sharon) of Grand Forks, North Dakota.

She was preceded in death by her biological father, Frederick Miller; step father, Wallace Bredemeier; mother, Vivienne (Johnson) Bredemeier; brother, Frederick Bredemeier; a sister, Jane Miller, and her granddog Geischtli.

John Bredemeier will conduct a memorial service at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 S. U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin where the family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until service time. Inurnment will take place at a later date at the family plot in Barnesville, Minnesota.
