Adam Hunter Conn

GREENWOOD

Adam Hunter Conn, 27, of Greenwood, passed away Friday, Sept. 11, 2015, at Indiana University Health in Indianapolis.

He was born Sept. 20, 1987, in West Palm Beach, Florida, to Michael and Reta (Cox) Conn.

He was a 2006 graduate of Greenwood Community High School and attended Ivy Technical College in Indianapolis. He was a Member Care Representative for Angie’s List in Indianapolis. He previously had worked for Dreyer and Reinbold in Greenwood.

Adam was a self-described gym rat who couldn’t wait to get to the gym after work to work out with his friends. He was an avid Oregon “Duck” fan, and a NASCAR fan. Jamie McMurray was his guy. Adam always had a smile for those he came in contact with and touched the lives of more people than he even knew.

Survivors include his parents, Michael and Reta (Cox) Conn of Greenwood; grandparents, Theo Cox Sr. and Mackie Cox of Seneca, South Carolina, James Roy Conn of Louisville, Colorado; two uncles, Ralph Cox (Gail) of Seneca, South Carolina, Robert Conn of Columbia, South Carolina; three aunts, Andrea Cooper (David) of Rock Hill, South Carolina, Mitzi Tannery (Mark) of Seneca, South Carolina, and Linda Hinkle (Dale) of Louisville, Colorado; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Donna Jean Conn.

David Cooper will conduct a service at 7 p.m. today at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 S. U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, where the family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until service time at the mortuary.
