Robert J. ‘Bob’ McCauley

GREENWOOD

Robert J. “Bob” McCauley, 65, of Greenwood, passed away in Florida on Sept. 3, 2015, after being diagnosed July 28 with lung cancer.

He was born Oct. 6, 1949, in Beech Grove to the late Charles and Evelyn (Butcher) McCauley. He was a 1967 graduate of Bishop Chartrand High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserve.

He retired from Indiana Bell/Ameritech after 35 years of service.

He was a member of Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church and enjoyed boating, fishing, and spending time with family and friends here in Indiana and at the family home on Longboat Key, Florida.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Kathi McCauley; two children, Brian (Wendy) McCauley and Heather (Kevin) Eisenmenger; five grandchildren, Joe and Jenna McCauley, and Keaton, Macy and McCauley “Mac” Eisenmenger; brother, Howard McCauley; and sister Jane Boatman.

He was preceded in death by siblings, Laverne Brothers, and Tom and Ruth McCauley.

The funeral service will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens at Olive Branch, 1605 S. State Road 135. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday at the funeral home.
