WISH-TV Report

Police are searching for the man who robbed a grocery store just outside of Johnson County and forced employees to walk through the store at gunpoint.

The robbery happened at 6:15 a.m. Sunday at the Morgantown IGA, a grocery store located off State Road 135, just south of State Road 252.

The robber was wearing a ski mask and followed employees into the store as they came to work.

He then forced employees to walk through the store at gunpoint, threatening to shoot them and demanding money, police said.

The man then left the store, and police suspect he may have been picked up by someone. He was wearing cargo pants, a black sweatshirt and black shoes.
