Shoplifting

• Circle K, 349 N. Morton St.: An employee reported at 2:42 p.m. Wednesday that a man stole a can of ale.
• Circle K, 349 N. Morton St.: An employee reported at 8:07 p.m. Wednesday that a man stole a bag of chips and a meat stick from the store. The man was found eating the items and was arrested.

Greenwood

Thefts 

• 400 block of Park Drive: Police responded at 8:55 a.m. Wednesday to a report of theft.
• Greenwood Foot Clinic, 720 Fry Road: Police responded at 2:31 p.m. Wednesday to a report of theft.
• 100 block of Surina Way: A man reported at 8:23 p.m. Wednesday that someone stole his vehicle while an acquaintance was borrowing it.
• Red Carpet Inn, 1117 E. Main St.: Police responded at 1:18 a.m. Thursday to a report of theft.

Theft

1800 block of West State Road 44, Franklin: A man reported at 9:18 a.m. Wednesday that someone stole a chain saw from his garage.
