FRANKLIN
Billy Joe Hicks, 54, died Aug. 20, 2015, in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Franklin.
Survivors include his parents, Charles E. and Barbara A. (Winkler) Hicks; five children, Laura (Alpha) Caplinger, Marissa Mays-Hicks and Logan Mays-Hicks, all of Greenwood, and Alichia (Matt) Bray and Clayton Ham, both of Franklin; three sisters, Norma (Harold) Bailey of Fairland, Linda (Jim) Bailey of Ohio and Wanda (Harry) Gentry of Franklin; a brother, Jerry (Mitzi) Hicks of Shelbyville; and six grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Jessen Funeral Home, Franklin Chapel, 197 E. Jefferson St. Visitation will be from noon until service time Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Youngs Creek Cemetery near Franklin.
