In your editorial Aug. 18 (“State’s teachers should receive larger tax credit”), you suggest our Indiana state teachers should receive a larger tax credit.
I totally agree. Our state legislatures should do more constructive things to help our educators. Their tax credit needs to be restored to the proposed $200 tax credit for next year. Then increased to $300 in 2017, $400 in 2018 and $500 in 2019. Then revisited each year for evaluation of results and possible increases.
Do something really positive!
