FRANKLIN
Edwin Frank “Eddie” King, 60, passed away Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015 at his residence in Franklin.
He was born Jan. 25, 1955 in Franklin to Lavern and Frances (Cochran) King. Eddie married Carolyn Snoddy on Aug. 28, 1982. She lovingly survives. Also surviving are their two children, Jeremy (Susan) King of Franklin and Stephanie (Matthew) Furnish of Franklin; grandchildren, Xavier and Elias Furnish and Asher King; one brother, Michael Lavern King of Edinburgh and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in passing by his parents and brother, Donald King.
Eddie was a 1973 graduate of Edinburgh High School.
He was a lifelong farmer in the Johnson County area.
Pastor Dan McCullough will conduct a celebration of Eddie’s life at 10 a.m. Thursday at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Second Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
