INDIANAPOLIS
Larry L. Dougherty, 69, of Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015.
He was born in Greenwood on Nov. 26, 1945, to Glenn E. and Ruth Mae Morris Dougherty.
Larry was a U.S. Army veteran and member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Susan G. Utterback Dougherty; sons, Jeffrey G. Dougherty, Nicholas X. Dougherty (Courtney Hutchings) and Thomas C. Dougherty; brothers, Dennis Dougherty (Darlene) and Douglas Dougherty (Deb); sisters-in-law, Sharon Jefry (Paul) and Jeanette Hoff; brothers-in-law, William Utterback and Thomas Utterback (Meghan); nieces and nephews; and Ella, his four-legged constant companion.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister-in-law, Teresa Utterback.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 8300 Rahke Road, Indianapolis. Calling will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
