GREENWOOD
Mildred M. Veerkamp, 90, of Greenwood, died Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015.
Survivors include two sons, Ron Veerkamp and Bob (Trina) Veerkamp; three daughters, Sharon (Dennis) Howat, Barb (Ivan) Smith and Kathy (Bob) Sexton; a sister, Shirley Hill; 11 grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard G. Veerkamp.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at S.S. Francis and Clare Catholic Church, 5901 Olive Branch Road in Greenwood. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
