The Greater Greenwood Toastmasters Club invites the community to its humorous speech contest.
The contest will be from 6:45 to 8 a.m. Aug. 14 in the educational wing at Community Hospital South, 1402 E. County Line Road, Indianapolis.
The event will feature up to five contestants and is free and open to the public.
The community is invited to attend meetings of the club, an organization dedicated to public speaking. Meetings are at 6:45 a.m. Fridays at the hospital’s education wing.
Attendees can improve public speaking skills and meet new people.
