Luetta Ann (Hunter) Williams

FRANKLIN

Luetta Ann (Hunter) Williams, 80, of Franklin, formerly of Martinsville, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2015, at Franklin United Methodist Home, Rehab I, surrounded by her family, friends and very special nurses.

Luetta was born Sept. 5, 1934, in Zionsville, and was the daughter of Kester and Audra Yula Shirley Coval.

She graduated from Zionsville High School and then married Donald Gene Hunter on June 30, 1952. He passed away Oct. 17, 1987. She then married Jack James Williams Nov. 29, 1991, who passed away March 28th, 2007.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and siblings, infant Leo Coval, Helen Nicely, Robert “Bob” Coval and Don Coval.

Survivors include five sons, Dennis (Joyce) Hunter of Wanamaker, Jerry (Judy) Hunter of Olive Branch, Mississippi, Kenneth “Ken” (Tina) Hunter of Nashville, Indiana, Kent (Elizabeth) Hunter of LaGrange, Kentucky and Mark (Vicky) Hunter of Franklin. She is also survived by a stepson, Robert Arney of Martinsville; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She worked as a homemaker, secretary at Hunter’s Chassis & Alignment, and spent close to 20 years as a sales associate at Ellis Jewelers in Martinsville.

She was previously a member of Liberty Christian Church in Martinsville and Union Christian Church in Franklin. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Morgantown Chapter No. 579.

She enjoyed playing bingo, watching IU basketball, dancing, shopping and baking, and most importantly, spending time with family and friends.

Luetta was known for her fun loving personality, kind heart, strength and unwavering dedication to her family.

A service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Home, 105 W. Pine Street, Zionsville. Calling will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Lincoln Memory Gardens, 6851 S. Indianapolis Road, Whitestown.
