Burglary
900 block of Dover Drive: Police responded at 9:16 p.m. Thursday to a report of criminal mischief. A door to a residence was kicked in.
1200 block of Scarborough Lane: Police responded at 5:47 p.m. Thursday to a report of burglary. Entry was made into a home through a patio door and a television and DVD player were stolen.

Report made at Greenwood Police Department, 186 Surina Way: Police responded at 7:03 p.m. Thursday to a report of stolen checks that were used fraudulently.
Kohl’s, 550 Fry Road: Police responded at 5:04 p.m. Thursday to a report of shoplifting. Two people were arrested.

Buffalo Wild Wings, 1077 N. Emerson Ave.: Police responded at 3:27 p.m. Thursday to a report of theft from a vehicle.
Kohl’s, 550 Fry Road: Police responded at 1:42 p.m. Thursday to a report of shoplifting. A woman was arrested on charges of criminal conversion and issued a summons to appear in court.

Cypress Run Golf Course, 7265 E. State Road 44, Franklin: Police responded at 7:06 a.m. Friday to a report of two people being caught on camera attempting to steal golf carts but couldn’t because they were secured.

3800 block of Chancellor Drive, Greenwood: Police responded at 12:14 p.m. Thursday to a report of burglarized vehicles that were left locked in a driveway.

5300 block of south County Road 700 East, Franklin: Police responded at 1:01 p.m. Thursday to a report of a phone scam.
900 block of Rita Drive, Greenwood: Police responded at 8:15 a.m. Thursday to a report of a homeowner who paid a contractor to do work to her property, but the work was never completed.
Operating while intoxicated
West Smokey Row Road and North County Road 200 West, Whiteland: Police responded at 4:58 a.m. Friday to a vehicle traveling more than twice the speed limit on County Road 200 North. The driver was arrested and issued citations for driving while intoxicated with a minor in the vehicle, underage drinking, speeding and a seatbelt citation, and passengers were issued citations for not wearing seatbelts.
