Roseanne Mary Drummond, 89, of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2015.
She was born in Indianapolis on April 21, 1926, to Edward and Kathryn Brown Sterrett.
Roseanne was a graduate of Southport High School and worked as a bookkeeper for Rose Engineering before retiring.
She married George E. Drummond on Feb. 1, 1947, in St. Roch Church in Indianapolis, where they also renewed their vows for their 50th anniversary. George passed away Sept. 26, 2009.
Roseanne and George bred and raised Doberman pinscher show dogs and had two national conformation champions.
Roseanne is survived by her daughters, Sharon L. Miles (Steve) and Trina Drummond (Evelyn); grandchildren, Deidre, Roseanne, Dorianne, Mauve and Bryce; one great-grandchild, Aiden; beloved Doberman, Trooper; and family cat, Sparky.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mark Catholic Church, 535 E. Edgewood Ave., Indianapolis. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 S. East St., Indianapolis, where morning prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. Monday prior to Mass. Entombment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Indianapolis.
