Pauline Marie (Tiffin) Finkbiner, 87, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015, at the Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin.

She was born Jan. 22, 1928, in Vermillion, Illinois, to Arthur C. and Alta (Forster) Tiffin. She married Roy R. Finkbiner on March 21, 1953, in Newman, Illinois; and he preceded her in death Nov. 7, 2004.

She was a 1945 graduate of Paris (Illinois) High School.

After raising her family, she earned a certification as a professional secretary.

She was a member of the Indiana Masonic Home Ransford Chapter 605 Order of the Eastern Star in Franklin, where she had served as Esther. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Franklin.

She and her husband enjoyed travel and square dancing and were members of the Prairie Promenaders Square Dance Club of Columbus.

She had been an executive secretary for the American Red Cross and American States Insurance in Indianapolis and secretary to the provost at Rockford (Illinois) College.

Survivors include a son, Kent Brian Finkbiner (Susan) of Westfield; two daughters, Lisa Kay Regier (Don) of Julesburg, Colorado, and Julie Marie Bastoky (Bruce) of San Jose, California; seven grandchildren, Christie Millis of Carmel, Brian Finkbiner of Carmel, Ryan Tahara of Suwanee, Georgia, Kurt Tahara of Houston, Mary Regier of Madison, Wisconsin, and Ben Regier and Elizabeth Regier, both of Julesburg, Colorado; and three great-grandchildren, Annabelle Millis, Layla Millis and Casey Finkbiner.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a brother, Arthur Ray Tiffin.

The Rev. Charles Stanley will conduct a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Kresge Chapel of the Indiana Masonic Home, 690 S. State St., Franklin. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, where an Order of the Eastern Star service will be conducted at 7 p.m. A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. (CDT) Friday at Zion Cemetery in Marshall, Illinois.
