Alessio “Alex” DiCecco Jr., 53, of Greenwood, passed away Friday, July 24, 2015.
He was born Nov. 15, 1961, in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, to the late Alessio and Marlene Maccarone DiCecco.
Alex was a graduate of Colerain High School, Cincinnati, class of 1980 and attended ITT. He worked for CC Holdings in business/hospitality management for the past four years and prior for InTown Suites.
Alex is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Mary K. DiCecco; children, Cameron Mitchell DiCecco (Sara Schmidt), Andrea Nichole DiCecco, Kyle Steven DiCecco, Cody Lee Meyer (Katherine) and Dylan James Meyer; four grandchildren, Parker DiCecco, Zoe Meyer, Savannah Meyer and Ciara Reeves; two brothers, Michael DiCecco (Amy) and Anthony DiCecco (Shannon); a sister, SueAnn M. DiCecco; and his mother, Marlene DiCecco.
His father, Alessio, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Shirley Brothers Thompson Road Chapel, 3333 E. Thompson Road, Indianapolis with funeral services Thursday at 11 a.m.
