Work to railroad crossings in Franklin will begin again next week.
Crews from Louisville & Indiana Railroads and CSX will be back in Franklin next week to upgrade and repair railroad crossings. Work was scheduled to be done earlier this month, but rain delayed crews from completing the work.
Four Franklin railroad crossings were not finished during the first round of construction work earlier this month. Here is when the crossings will be closed for construction next week:
- Monday: Jefferson Street crossing
- Tuesday: King Street crossing
- Wednesday: Commerce Street crossing
- Thursday: State Street crossing
The work should be completed by the end of next week, weather permitting.
