FRANKLIN
Sue Carolyn (Jenkins) Hadley, 76, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015, at her home in Franklin.
She was born Oct. 3, 1938, in Old Hickory, Tennessee, to the late Cora Dee (Freeman) Jenkins and Jimmie Louie Jenkins.
She graduated from Warren County High School in 1956. Sue married Welba Hadley, and he preceded her in death May 2001. She also was preceded in death by a son, Terry Ray Crawford of Tennessee.
Sue is survived by four children, Tonya (Hadley) Dowell and husband, Rodney Dowell, of Franklin, David Crawford of Franklin, Kevin Crawford of Kentucky and Gerald Toon of Indianapolis, and grandchildren, Brett Mason, Cory Crawford and Cole Crawford.
She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, her animals, gardening and Elvis.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Simplicity Funeral & Cremation Care, 951 N. Main St. in Franklin. Calling will be from 11 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh at a later date.
