BARGERSVILLE
Robert A. Meadows, 59, of Bargersville, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015.
He was born Aug. 14, 1955, in Indianapolis to Jesse J. and Judith M. (Stamper) Meadows.
He married Linda C. (Foltz) Meadows on June 24, 1978, at First Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Franklin. She survives.
He was a train engine operator for A.D.M. grain terminal in Beech Grove for 32 years. He attended Whiteland Community High School.
He enjoyed camping, was an avid truck and car person, and enjoyed being around family and friends. He was an especially proud Papaw of his grandson, Jackson.
Survivors include his wife, Linda C. (Foltz) Meadows of Bargersville; a daughter, Amber D. Meadows-Littrell (Dalton) of Bargersville; a son, Jeremy A. Meadows of Bargersville; a grandson, Jackson E. Littrell; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Donna A. Brubeck, on July 13, 2015.
The Rev. Rick Henry will conduct a service at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 S. Morton St. (U.S. 31 South) in Franklin. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
