Beverly June Carney

GREENWOOD

Beverly June (Noble) Carney, 72, of Greenwood, passed away at home Saturday, July 18, 2015, surrounded by family.

She was born in Richmond on Aug. 2, 1942, to the late Woodrow and Lorene (Cross) Noble.

She graduated from Spiceland High School in 1960.

Beverly worked as a teller with Capitol Plus Credit Union for many years.

Her talents included gardening, home decorating, cooking and making Christmas candy, a family tradition. Most notably, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Beverly also was preceded in death by her stepfather, John King.

She leaves behind her husband of 50 years, Richard Carney; three children, Kathy (Larry) Harris of McKinney, Texas, Julie Carney of Franklin and Jenny (Ed) Kim of Fishers; a brother, Tim (Nancy) King; and six beautiful grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St. Calling will be from noon until the service time Saturday at the funeral home. A private burial will be held at a later date in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Glenns Valley, Greenwood.
