A Greenwood man was arrested after a 13-year-old girl told police he was the father of her child.
Shawn M. Lewis, 20, 1817 Meyer St., was arrested on a charge of child molestation.
Police were contacted by an Indiana Department of Child Services caseworker about a 13-year-old girl who recently had a baby, and the father was much older than the girl, the report said.
The girl told police she and Lewis had sex multiple times, and that Lewis is the father of her baby, according to the police report.
Lewis told police the two had sex, and that he knew her age because he had been to her birthday parties, the report said.
Lewis was arrested and taken to the Johnson County jail, where he was held on $16,000 bond.
