The Johnson County Young Farmers will host an ag career roundtable during the Johnson County Fair.
The event will be at 4 p.m. July 23 at the Farm Bureau building at the fairgrounds.
The roundtable’s aim is to help inform students majoring in agriculture to know what types of majors and degrees are required various fields in the industry.
High school students, parents of students majoring in ag, current college students or anyone else interested in careers or internships in the field are encouraged to attend.
The USDA Farm Service Agency, Rose Acre Farms, Purdue Extension, Farm Credit of Mid America, Greene Crop Consulting, Ivy Tech Community College, Kokomo Grain and Central Nine Career Center will all have representatives at the event.
