An Indianapolis man was in good condition after an accident on State Road 37.
Aaron Merriman, 23, was driving a flatbed truck north on State Road 37, just south of State Road 144, on Monday afternoon. The truck went off the side of the road, pulled back onto the road, crossed the median and then rolled into the shoulder.
Merriman was taken by medical helicopter to Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital after the accident, with head and abdominal injuries. On Tuesday, he was listed in good condition, according to a hospital spokesperson.
No one else was injured, and no other vehicles were involved in the accident, Bargersville Assistant Police Chief Todd Bertram said. Police are investigating why Merriman’s truck went off the road, Bertram said.
