To the editor:
The Supreme Court decision is a great milestone for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered community. Everyone, regardless of sexual orientation, can now marry in every state in the Union.
Despite several states, including Indiana, dragging their feet on this fundamental human right, justice has finally prevailed.
While I do not always agree with our state legislature, I am grateful it did not humiliate our state further by inflicting a constitutional amendment vote upon our citizens against this inevitable flow of history.
Thank goodness for the United States Supreme Court.
