FRANKLIN
Donna Sue Smitley, 49, of Franklin, passed away Monday, June 29, 2015.
She was born Aug. 10, 1965, in Indianapolis to Charles Smitley and Linda Lou Goodman.
She attended Franklin Community High School.
She had been a waitress for Flapjacks in Bargersville.
She enjoyed helping and serving people. She also enjoyed camping, having a good time, laughing with others and was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.
Survivors include her daughter, Christy N. Norton (Peter) of Franklin; two grandchildren, Allyson N. Norton and Lucy Jade Norton; a sister, Dianna L. Perry (Rex) of Franklin; and a former spouse, Randy Walsman of Whiteland.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Eddy Fields.
A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 S. Morton St. (U.S. 31 South) in Franklin. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the mortuary. Burial will be at Youngs Creek Cemetery in Franklin.
