FRANKLIN
Jeanette Belton-Moran, 73, of Franklin, passed away Friday, June 26, 2015, at IU Health Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was born Nov. 16, 1941, to Charlie and Bonnie Knifley in Knifley, Kentucky.
She was a member of New Whiteland Baptist Church, Red Hat Society, and Senior Citizens Club both of Franklin and Bargersville. She also enjoyed gardening, traveling and crafts.
She is survived by her husband, Junice Moran of Franklin; daughter, Debbie Lesjak of Carmel; two sons; Jeffrey Belton of Greenwood and Gregory (Leigh Ann) Belton of Mooresville; sister, Judy (Jim) Sanders of Daytona Beach, Florida; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her former husband, Leslie W. Belton; brothers, James Knifley and Billy Joe Knifley; sister, Betty Clements and her parents.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Jessen Funeral Home, Whiteland Chapel, 729 U.S 31 North with entombment in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Greenwood. Visitation will from 3 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
