Dale Eugene Catron

NINEVEH

Dale Eugene Catron, 64, of Nineveh, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2015.

He was born on Jan. 17, 1951, to the late Raymond Nelson Catron Sr. and Helen L. (Kasiter) Catron.

In 1972, Dale graduated from Indian Creek High School.

For 23 years, he worked for the Prince’s Lakes Street Department. He volunteered for the Nineveh Fire Department for 25 years, spent 18 years at Prince’s Lakes Ambulance Service.

He was a member of the Nineveh Jaycees and was affiliated with the Future Farmers of America for four years.

Dale coached and umpired Little League baseball for several years. He loved gardening, fishing and spending time with his granddaughters, nieces and nephews. They were very special in his heart.

Dale is survived by his wife, Debbie; son, Ricky (Natalie) Catron; daughter, Jackie (Richie) Bockover; sister, Marilou (Stan) Thompson; two granddaughters, Abby and Caty; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and one great-great-niece.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Raymond Jr.; and a sister, Bonnie.

Funeral services for Dale will be at 3 p.m. today at The Crossing Church, 8728 S. Nineveh Road, Prince’s Lakes. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time today at the church. Burial will be at Nineveh Cemetery.

Donations in Dale’s name may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
