Marjorie Mae Wilder

Marjorie Mae Wilder, 92, passed away Monday, June 15, 2015, at Columbus Regional Hospital. She was a longtime resident of Johnson County, where she and her husband raised their children before retiring to Ocala, Florida. She lived the last few years of her life in Columbus to be near her daughters and family.

She was born Dec. 3, 1922, in Indianapolis, to Chester and Cecil (Miller) Pool.

She married Arthur LeRoy Wilder on June 23, 1946. He preceded her in passing on April 20, 2001.

Survivors include her daughters, Mary Foster of Beech Grove, Janet Tippin (Jim) of Bloomington and Joyce Tow (Jeff) of Nineveh; grandchildren, Christina Fultz, Stephen Lord, Sara Foster, A.J. Tippin, Jeffrey Tippin, Carrie Vavul, Jessica Rund and Codi Tow; and great-grandchildren, Isabelle Lord, Emily Lord, Wesley Fultz, Garrett Fultz, Addie Rund, Wyatt Rund, Allison Vavul, David Vavul, and a baby boy and girl on the way.

A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.

Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin, is handling arrangements.
